Aims and Scope
The Turkish Journal of Population Studies is a peer-reviewed and periodically published scientific journal and issued by Hacettepe University Institute of Population Studies.
The Turkish Journal of Population Studies was founded in 1979 to encourage and present the generation of knowledge within various subjects of demography among the circles interested in this area of science. While focusing on scientific studies within the field of demography, which are fertility, mortality, migration, reproductive health, development, gender, are subject to evaluation of interdisciplinary studies to be published in the Turkish Journal of Population Studies. The journal is issued once a year in December. Papers should be original, written in English or Turkish and not having been published anywhere before. The studies satisfying these qualifications are reviewed by the Editorial Board of the Journal and assessed by at least two independent referees followed by publishing.
The journal is published in print and the ISSN number is 0259-6334.
