2017, October 19, On the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute, an event was held on "Transformation in Fertility and Family" . Program

2016, December 6, Upon the request of the Turkish Republic General Directorate of Health Research of the Ministry of Health, Hacettepe University Institute of Population Studies conducted "National Burden Of Disease Study, 2013" in cooperation with Washington University Institute of Health Measurement evaluation (IHME) and McKinsey Consulting Company. The meeting for results was hosted by our Rector Prof. Dr. Haluk özen and Director of the Institute Prof. Dr. A. Banu Ergöçmen with the honors of Turkish Republic Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ. The meeting was held in the Conference Hall of the Institute of Population Studies at Beytepe Campus.

2016, October 11, Our institute received the "Hacettepe University Rectorate Social Responsibility Studies Award". The Award is presented by Rector of our university Prof. Dr. Haluk özen at the opening ceremony of the academic year.
