1998 Turkey Demographic and Health Survey

General Information

1998 Turkey Demographic and Health Survey is a nationwide field survey, which is planned to gather information on fertility level and change, infant and child mortality, family planning and maternal and child health. The results of the survey are presented at national level for rural and urban settlements and five regions of the country.

TDHS-1998 has been conducted by our Institute in collaboration with T.R. General Directorate of Maternal-Child Health and Family Planning of the Ministiry of Health. TDHS-1998 was funded by MEASURE DHS+ Program through United States International Development Organization and the United Nations Population Fund.
