The journal adheres to the standards of publication ethics, the principles adopted by the scientific research ethics and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Editors, referees and authors of The Turkish Journal of Population Studies are required to comply with these standards.
Ethical principles for authors
- The article must not have been published before.
- The article should not have been sent to another journal for publication.
- Plagiarism, duplication, and similar abuses are unacceptable.
- Ethics Committee permissions required for research should be indicated in the article with the approval number and date.
- Sources and references should be appropriately provided.
Ethical principles for editors and reviewers
- All articles submitted to the publication are considered indiscriminately.
- All submitted articles are examined with plagiarism software.
- Referees make evaluations without knowing the names and descriptive information of the authors.
- The identity of the referees is kept secret.
- All referee reports, positive or negative, are forwarded to the authors.
